At PLASTINDIA 2026, Hon'ble Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Shri Chirag Paswan Ji unveiled the Plastic Industry Status Report 2025, presented Startup Initiative awards
PLASTINDIA 2026, being hosted at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, the Chairman, PLASTINDIA 2026, welcomed and graciously received Shri Chirag Paswan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, along with the Chairman, ITPO.
During the visit, the Hon’ble Minister toured the exhibition and released the Plastic Industry Status Report 2025, highlighting India’s expanding role in the global plastics value chain.
He also presented awards under the Startup Search Initiative and emphasised the importance of technology adoption, waste minimisation, and sustainable manufacturing in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
The event brings together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers from India and across the world at India’s world-class convention and exhibition venue.
