Plastindia 2009 International Conference
International Conference

A two-day conference will be held on 6th and 7th February, 2009. The aim of this event, which is divided into sessions on business and technology, is to bring together eminent scholars and industrial experts for a fruitful engagement to promote the development and growth of the Indian Plastics Industry.
As no undertaking can proceed without thought, the plastics industry can realize its true potential only with the wholehearted participation of all those concerned with it. We extend a warm invitation to you and look forward to your participation in this conference.

Day 1: Business Day: 6th Feb 2009

As competition in business has never been as fierce as it is today, the need to devise ways to stay at the top is greater than ever. Fundamentally knowledge based, there is scope yet for the polymers industry to be more knowledge driven. A change in mindset from economics of scale to knowledge-based competencies is the need of the hour. A switch from products and services to systems and supply chain management must be integrated to serve customers better.

Management gurus, financial wizards, investment bankers, petrochemical consultants and economists will put forth their opinions and vision before the plastics industry to overcome these challenges.
